The traffic on I-75 North in Henry County was shut down today while investigators investigate a fatal motorcycle wreck. The collision occurred around 4:50 a.m. near Hudson Bridge Road. The motorcycle rider was killed in the accident. The interstate was turned into a parking lot between McDonough and Stockbridge during the investigation. The northbound lanes were closed until 5 a.m. and reopened at 8:40 a.m.

Motorcyclist died in i 75 crash
A motorcyclist died today after a fatal crash on I-75 in Hernando County. Matthew Sheridan, 43, was traveling northbound on I-75 when his motorcycle lost control due to a rear tire blowing out. As a result, he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into the guardrail. The motorcyclist died at the scene. The crash is currently under investigation.
