July 5, 2022Mavericks Injury Report – Who’s Out?
Despite a lackluster season, the Mavs’ injury report is promising. We’ll see if Tim Hardaway Jr., Willie Cauley-Stein, Luka Doncic, and Reggie Bullock all miss games. But who else is questionable? We’ll also look at the status of the rest of the team. Here’s what we know so far. Hopefully, you’ll have more information by Game 6!
Tim Hardaway Jr.
American professional basketball player Tim Hardaway Jr. currently plays for the Dallas Mavericks in the National Basketball Association. Previously, Hardaway played college basketball for the University of Michigan Wolverines, where he declared for the draft after his junior season. While he played for the national-runner-up 2012–13 team, he also declared for the draft. Hardaway is a two-time All-American and is averaging 17.8 points and 10.0 rebounds per game.
After being drafted in the 2013 NBA Draft, Tim Hardaway is already an established NBA player. He averaged nearly 20 points per game last season and was named to the NBA All-Rookie First Team. This season, Hardaway was selected to practice with the USA Basketball National Select Team, and he has improved as a guard. He’s also an excellent passer. He can score the ball from anywhere on the court. But he must develop better ball-handling skills to become a more complete player.
Willie Cauley-Stein
After signing a ten-day contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, Willie Cauley-Stein has made his debut on the court. He played four minutes against the Minnesota Timberwolves, recording two rebounds and one assist while being a plus-4 in the game. He is not expected to play against the New York Knicks. Sixers head coach Doc Rivers said he was hopeful that Cauley-Stein would play in his next game.
The Warriors need their bigs to protect the paint, and the absence of Cauley-Stein is a setback. The injury report does not say how long Cauley-Stein is out, but the Warriors hope he returns soon. In the meantime, the team needs to prepare for a difficult game against the Knicks. Willie Cauley-Stein injury report
Luka Doncic
The Dallas Mavericks have not yet released an injury report for Luka Doncic. The forward has been wearing a protective boot before undergoing MRIs. The team is free to disclose the details of Doncic’s injury as they see fit. However, it is possible that the Mavs are holding back information in the interest of maintaining their privacy. Despite that, it is not surprising to hear that Doncic is on the sidelines this series.
Dallas Mavericks coach Jason Kidd announced that Luka Doncic will sit out Game 1 of the Mavericks’ Western Conference first-round series with the Utah Jazz because of an injury to his left calf. Doncic was diagnosed with a left calf strain last week and isn’t expected to play in Game 2. However, he did shoot some basketballs on Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully, the injury won’t keep him from playing the rest of the series.
Reggie Bullock
If you are following the Mavs this playoff season, you may have noticed that Reggie Bullock has not yet been listed on the team’s injury report. Although the Mavericks were without their most important player in Game 5 – Luka Doncic – the Mavs have been without Reggie Bullock as well. While he has been a disappointment this season, Bullock has put up some impressive numbers this postseason. Here are some of his top stats from this series.
Dallas Mavericks: The Mavs are on a trip to the East Coast to play the Charlotte Hornets. This game is a must-win for both teams. Dallas has an impressive record, but they will need to be at their best to win this series. The Mavericks are 43-26 heading into this game, while the 76ers are 42-26. Unfortunately, there are no new injuries to report for the Mavericks ahead of Sunday’s game against the Hornets.
